Finally! The week was over. The weekend had arrived! Jonah hadn't been in school again so the day had been pretty monotonous and I hadn't had any more biology or math lessons since the "frog incident" so hadn't been given a chance to grate on Ella's nerves by ignoring her warning but at that moment as I walked through the front door, I really didn't care. I was just glad I'd managed to get through a whole week at my new school.
I kicked of my converse, dumped my bag on the carpeted floor and sighed happily. No more classes, no more teachers, and no more Ella Ryan for more than another 48 hours. Perfect.
As I sidled into the kitchen to hijack the Oreos, I wondered how my weekend would be spent. Obviously I had lots of assignments from school to complete and I had to talk to Hannah again but then what?
Thinking about this reminded me of how my weekends had once been filled. A long time ago in a far, far away land my weekends had been literally filled to bursting. In fact we generally had only missed a party if a better one was going on at the same time.
